AISGE is the Collective Management Organisation of Intellectual Property Rights, authorised as such by Order of the Ministry of Culture dated November 30, 1990, to manage the intellectual property rights granted to performers —actors, dancers, dubbers, stage directors, and other beneficiaries— over performances fixed directly or indirectly, temporarily or permanently, in any form and by any means, medium, or system, whether already invented or yet to be invented, allowing their reproduction, including the storage of such performances digitally on an electronic medium, as well as their communication to the public or making available to the public by analogue or digital means or devices.

The collective management carried out by the CMO by legal mandate covers the economic rights of intellectual nature, originally granted to the performers referred to in the personal scope of its Articles of Association. In particular, the CMO manages, among others, the following rights:

  • The remuneration for private copying of phonograms, videograms, and other analogue or digital sound, visual, or audiovisual media, devices, or systems.

  • The remuneration rights for the communication to the public, in any form, of subject-matter included in AISGE’s repertoire fixed in a phonogram, audiovisual work and/or recording, including the unwaivable remuneration right for making such performances available to the public, by wire or wireless means, so that any person may access them from a place and at a time chosen by them.
